What happens when the good kid grows up to be the incompetent parent? What happens when the guy in the background decides to take center stage? What happens when the lovable misfit morphs into a royal pain in the ... ? What happens? Uncontrollable laughter ... because that royal pain in KING RICH! One of the most sought after comedy acts touring today, KING RICH has had one of the most non-traditional careers a performer could possibly hope for, having spent years of his career living out of a beat up 1988 Nissan Sentra while traveling the United States, to performing with Shakespeare festivals across the country, to writing and producing a number of off-Broadway plays in New York City. A native Texan, he has taken the touring comedy scene by storm with his unique blend of wild, absurd and downright silly attitudes and observations. He has two children (Derek and Ty) who mean the world to him and are the source of his smile.
KING RICH is a nationally touring comedian who has appeared on HBO, Court TV and the upcoming feature film Playing Doctor. He has played colleges and clubs throughout the east coast including Gotham, EastVille, Laugh Lounge and New York Comedy Club (NYC), Comedy Cabana (Myrtle Beach), DSI Comedy Theater, the Charleston Comedy Festival, LeMoyne College (Syracuse NY) and various military installations, most recently Camp Lejuene in Jacksonville NC. He's featured for nationally touring headliners such as Basile, Rollin' Jay Moore, Tim Statum and hypnotist Gary Conrad and headlined a number of venues across the U.S. including the Dallas Comedy Festival, Piano's Comedy Festival (Bloomfield NJ), Joker's Icehouse (Killeen TX) and DirtySexyComedy (Spring TX).
